The following is from a patient who suffered from tennis elbow:

"I began to experience tennis elbow during the summer of 2005. I contacted a hand doctor who provided Cortisone shots for the pain which relieved the pain for approximately 3 months. In December 2005 I had another shot of Cortisone, and again the pain was relieved for 3 months. After those three months, I decided I would try acupuncture which gave me some short term relief. At this point, I was having difficulty at work on my computer, lifting normal grocery purchases, etc. Finally, I read about the Graston Technique and decided to try it.  Dr. Dembski was sure that this therapy was going to work for me and even enable me to play tennis again. For patients concerned they may have a serious condition that is outside the scope of a chiropractic physician, Dr. Dembski will always make appropriate medical referrals:

I went to Dr. Dembski complaining of severe pain and swelling of my right arm and upper chest area. I was evaluated by my family physician who diagnosed me with a pinched nerve in the neck and referred me to Dr. Dembski for treatment.  Dr. Dembski diagnosed me with a Deep Vein Thrombosis.  A DVT is a blood clot.  Dr. Dembski sent me to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with three blood clots in my arm and upper chest.  After 8 days in Danbury Hospital, I was released and placed on on a blood thinner for the treatment of blood clots caused by a postural condition called thoracic outlet syndrome. My thoracic surgeon told me I would need surgery to correct this problem which consisted of removal of my upper rib. Dr. Dembski gave me several exercises designed to improve posture and open the thoracic outlet.  The exercises worked and I was able to avoid surgery.  If I had not seen Dr. Dembski, I may have never been diagnosed correctly and I could have died because of it. I have fully recovered and I am back to my regular routine in life a little wiser and also grateful to a person who was willing to take his time in diagnosing and correcting a life threatening condition.

In April I came in for treatment for what I thought was sciatica.  After examining my leg, you informed me my pain could be coming from a blood clot in my leg.  You advised me to call my primary doctor immediately.  I did and he told me to go directly to the emergency room.  The doctors in the emergency room found a clot and initiated treatment.  After a period of time, it was gone.  I very much appreciate your advice.
